Start by getting accustomed to the countries that are currently unsupportive towards the popular cryptocurrency.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your country has labeled Bitcoin as illegal, you will not be able to buy from cryptocurrency exchanges.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If there is a banking ban on Bitcoin, you will probably not be able to use your bank account or bank card to invest in cryptocurrency.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Having said that. even if your country supports Bitcoin purchases there are still a few things to keep in mind before trying to purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who can buy Bitcoin?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be able to invest in Bitcoin, you will need the following:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be older than 18 years old and reside in a country that allows cryptocurrency purchases<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your own bank account, signed under your own name<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Bitcoin wallet to store your coins after you buy them<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/c\/capital.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Capital<\/a> that you can allocate towards BTC<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This should be enough to get you started. You do not necessarily need a bank account to get started since you can also buy with different payment methods.
