Among VeChain\u2019s partners, which can be seen on the project\u2019s official website, we find: DNV-GL, PWC, Walmart (China), AWC, and BMW.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, it is important to mention that the VeChain blockchain relies on two tokens:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>VeChain token (VET)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is used to perform transactions on decentralized applications (dApps) that occur on the VeChain blockchain.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>VeChain Energy (THOR)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is used to pay fees for transactions and is generated as a staking reward for those who hold VeChain tokens. The concept (VTHO) is similar to that of Ethereum\u2019s ETH or NEO\u2019s GAS.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The VET token<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this article, we focus on VET and its performance. Our VeChain forecast is also aimed solely towards VET, and we won\u2019t be delving into VTHO. With the price of Ethereum fluctuating between $311 and $324 during that period, the approximate price of VEN for early investors would be around $0,11 per coin.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each VEN would later convert to 100 VET tokens, with their price starting out at $0,013.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While there is not much information available for the token\u2019s performance during the bull run of the final quarter of 2017, its price in July 2018 indicates that the VEN token was priced at $1,30, having multiplied more than 12x from its ICO price.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2018-2019<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the bear market, VET was also heavily affected. A price bottom is found in December 2018, similar to most altcoins, with VET being worth merely $0,004 per coin.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The token fluctuates in value over the next two years but does not make any significant advancements. While the value of both BTC and ETH starts to recover, VET remains somewhat stagnant around the $0,01 area.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2020<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is only in the summer of 2020 that we see rapid adoption and popularity of DeFi-related tokens. With VeChain\u2019s use case benign directly related to decentralized financial products, we observe a temporary \u201cpump\u201d in the coin\u2019s value, topping at $0,017.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a short decline that follows overvalued market conditions, VET continues its growth together with most altcoins that pose strong fundamentals.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We previously noted that the market sentiment for VeChain, just like other cryptos, will be remarkably bullish in 2021 \u2013 and we weren&#8217;t wrong. <strong>VET really took off in 2021,<\/strong> hitting an all-time high of<strong> $0,252 on 20 April 2021.<\/strong> It saw some easing afterwards, followed by other temporary spikes, although it did not quite reach another all-time high. In fact, in December 2021, its price was very similar to what it was in January 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VeChain price prediction 2023<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Admittedly, our attempts to predict specific price points were less successful, so we won&#8217;t try to repeat this in our VeChain price prediction 2023. Instead, let&#8217;s consider <strong>the strong sides of the token,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>the general shape of the crypto market in 2023<\/strong> and its perspectives.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here&#8217;s a quick recap of the <strong>things VET has going for it:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its focus point, supply management, is one of the biggest pillars in blockchain and one of the best use case scenarios for VeChain.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The token is strongly linked with the solutions provided by DeFi applications, which can be built on top of VeChain\u2019s blockchain.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among these DeFi applications, a large area of interest is that of gaming, which is growing thanks to the new ideas linked to a perceived<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.masterthemeta.com\/business-breakdowns\/into-the-void\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Metaverse<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As you no doubt have noticed, the<strong> market sentiment in 2023 is a good deal chillier<\/strong> than it was in 2022 &#8211; there&#8217;s even talk of a crypto winter. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should also be noted that VET did see strong growth in 2021, and it may take a while to repeat its success. Therefore, we believe that a plausible scenario for VET may be limited movement in 2023. It may well recover some ground, but an explosion in value is not the baseline scenario. This area of focus is very relevant to VeChain, which will continue to act as a foundation for supply management of (virtual) luxury items.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By 2025, we expect the total market cap of the crypto industry to have exceeded that of Gold. Sitting at roughly 10 trillion, this would mean that the whole market will nearly 10x from this point onwards. About half of this value will most likely be locked in Bitcoin and Ethereum. The rest will most certainly be spread throughout fundamentally strong DeFi-related projects, such as VET. With this in mind, it wouldn\u2019t be unreasonable to expect <\/span><b>VET to reach a $10 price point before the end of 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This prediction is highly speculative, but would be much more realistic if we manage to hit our 2021 target.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the 2021 target is not reached, we can also create a scenario for a bearish price performance. This may happen if a stronger supply management project manages to outperform VeChain and is chosen as the go-to option for luxury goods. If the captured market share of VeChain decreases, so will its price. As such, <\/span><b>the bearish scenario could see VET somewhat stagnant in the $1 area<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as the rest of the industry continues to grow.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VeChain price prediction 2030<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By 2030, many futurists believe that humanity will be fully linked with AI. The development of virtual realities will no longer be a far fetched idea but the foundation of our daily life. Due to this, decentralized projects will become increasingly important and valuable in terms of market capitalization.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When looking at the current partnerships of VeChain we can expect the project to become important in both the physical and virtual world.
