This change marks a significant shift in regulatory stance and could open the door for more traditional financial institutions to enter the crypto space. The decision may boost confidence in the sector and support broader adoption across the U.S. banking system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-7989-_4hqb9ehps6dz\"><\/a>UK Urged to Deliver Clear Crypto Regulations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The UK government is under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/uk\/law\/article\/goverment-must-urgently-deliver-regulatory-clarity-for-cryptoassets-z66bnn0xv\">increasing pressure<\/a> to establish clear and comprehensive crypto regulations. With countries like the U.S. and UAE moving ahead with defined frameworks, stakeholders are calling on UK lawmakers to act swiftly and position the country as a crypto-friendly hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-7989-_hmsvokyfjuba\"><\/a>Standard Chartered Predicts $120K Bitcoin by Q2 2025<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Geoff Kendrick, Head of Crypto Research at Standard Chartered, has predicted that Bitcoin could reach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/bitcoin-price-prediction-record-high-q2-trump-crypto-whales-btc-2025-4\">$120,000<\/a> by the second quarter of 2025. His forecast is based on growing institutional demand, market momentum, and favorable macroeconomic trends. If accurate, this would represent a major milestone for the crypto market and signal renewed confidence in Bitcoin\u2019s long-term value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-7989-_bxheyn9ajhcl\"><\/a>Conference Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In April, the Paybis team attended 3 events literally all around the world. In the very beginning of April, our team went to the Hong Kong Web3 Festival, where our colleague Alex Ivanov explored the latest advancements in the world of Web3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Towards the second half of April, the Paybis team attended the <a href=\"https:\/\/paybis.com\/blog\/paybis-at-paris-blockchain-week\/\">Paris Blockchain Event<\/a>, one of Europe\u2019s biggest crypto events, bringing together industry leaders, developers, and enthusiasts to talk all things blockchain, Web3, and digital assets. Held annually in Paris, it\u2019s a key spot for sharing ideas and shaping the future of decentralized tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the key highlights from these events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our CBDO and Co-Founder, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/konstantinvasilenko\/\">Konstantin Vasilenko<\/a>, had a discussion with Bitcoin Magazine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paybis co-sponsored a popular Bitmart side event together with MetaEra, Blockdaemon, and ZetaChain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Konstantin sat down with <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Player1Taco\">Player1Taco<\/a> to talk about Paybis, our products, services, Bitcoin, and the changing crypto scene.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last but not least, Konstantin also participated in a panel discussion on \u201cThe Influence of Digital Assets in the Global Economy\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To finish off April, our team also attended the Unblock event in Riga, Latvia, our hometown!
