Paybis 2024 Wrap-Up: Key Achievements
The holidays are right around the corner, and there’s barely any time left before we step into 2025! But even though we’re all busy with finishing our tasks and important projects, we wanted to take a step back and look at what we’ve achieved in 2024.
Right off the bat, we’re incredibly happy to announce that the Paybis community has grown to a whopping 4.6 million users all around the world! But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We attended a list of key crypto events, improved our platforms, added new tokens, and much more. Let’s jump right in and review the key highlights!

What Did Paybis Do in 2024?
2024 was a productive year for Paybis. From important crypto events all over the world, speaking to clients, crypto enthusiasts, and industry experts, to new tokens and payment methods on our exchange platform – we did a lot this year.
- Paybis grew to a team of 120 top experts, specialists, and enthusiasts.
- 864,322 new users joined Paybis.
- The top three traded cryptocurrencies were Bitcoin, USDT, and Ethereum.
- The biggest single trade amount reached $2,5 million worth of USDT.
- One user made 2,125 transactions throughout the year, averaging around 6 transactions per day.
- We surpassed an all-time high trading volume of $2,6 billion.
- Our Know Your Customer (KYC) process now only takes 11 minutes to complete and get on board with Paybis.
- We received over 25,000 reviews on Trustpilot.
… and we launched a total of 5 B2B products, expanding our expertise to provide the best crypto experiences for individuals and businesses around the globe! But that’s a discussion on its own.

Added Tokens
The Paybis exchange platform already offers an extensive list of different cryptocurrencies to trade, and in 2024, we added 11 more to that list:
- Ethereum Classic (ETC) is a native cryptocurrency, used for transaction fees, smart contract execution, and network security.
- Arbitrum (ARB) is a native token of the Arbitrum network. It allows users to vote on protocol upgrades and decisions within its Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum.
- Optimism (OP) is very similar to ARB, it’s the native token of the Optimism network where users can be a part of the decision-making process.
- Astar (ASTR) is the native token of the Astar parachain, which facilitates dApp support, staking, and governance in the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Moonbeam (GLMR) is a utility and governance token of the Moonbean parachain that enables transaction payments, smart contract execution, and participation in governing within the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Toncoin (TON) is a native token of the TON blockchain, and it’s primarily used for tokens such as transaction fees, decentralized services, staking, and governance.
- USD Coin (BASE) is a fully-backed stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, used for payments, trading, and decentralized finance.
- Ethereum (BASE) is a new token, pegged to the total market cap of all cryptocurrencies at a ratio of 1:1 trillion.
- USDT (Polygon) is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, and it provides fast, low-cost transactions and stable value.
- USD Coin (Polygon) is another stablecoin on Polygon that’s pegged to the US dollar and offers fast and low-cost transactions.
- PEPE is one of the newer meme coins on the Solana blockchain, inspired by the famous meme ad backed by a meme enthusiast community.
Expanded Payments List
We set out to become your go-to platform for all things crypto. That includes making sure that you can choose your favorite payment methods no matter where you’re from. As a result, in 2024 we’ve added 20 new payment methods to Paybis.
Some of the most famous ones include PayPal, SWIFT, and Revolut! But that’s just the start. We wanted to provide local alternatives as well, so here’s a detailed list of all payments.

- PayPal: a well-known online payment platform used for cross-border, convenient, and secure transactions for customers and businesses.
- SWIFT Bank Transfer: an international payment system that became a standard for cross-border and secure transactions.
- Revolut Pay: a popular digital payment service allowing users to send and receive funds simply and quickly for domestic and international transactions.
Europe
- iDEAL: one of the most popular Dutch online payment methods for direct bank transfers for online purchases.
- Blik: a Polish mobile payment system enabling instant payments using a smartphone app that’s linked directly to a user’s bank account.
- Multibanco: a Portuguese payment system that provides users with access to a variety of payment services, including transfers, bill payments, and cash withdrawals.
- MB Way: a Portuguese mobile payment service for purchasing goods, and withdrawing cash using smartphones.
- Electronic Payment Standard (EPS): an Austrian online payment system that allows users to make secure payments directly from their bank accounts.
- Faster Payment System (FPS) Bank Transfer: a payment system that allows instant fund transfers between banks in the UK.
Asia
- Shopee: an eCommerce platform in Southeast Asia that offers online shopping and payment solutions for users and merchants.
- Boost: a digital wallet and payment app in Malaysia, that allows purchases, fund transferring, and access to various services.
- Touch’n Go: another Malaysian e-wallet service offering digital payments for transportation, retail, and other services.
- PromptPay: a Thai national payment system that makes fund transferring more convenient using mobile numbers or personal ID numbers.
- Financial Process Exchange (FPX) is an online payment gateway in Malaysia that allows users to make real-time bank transfers for eCommerce transactions.
- GCash: a popular mobile wallet in the Philippines that allows users to send money, pay bills, and shop online using their smartphones.
- Maya: a Filipino digital wallet and payment platform with features like online shopping, money transfers, and bill payments.
- QRPh: the Philippine National QR Code Standard for fast and secure peer-to-peer and business-to-consumer payments using QR codes.
- PESONet: an automated clearing house in the Philippines for batch fund transfers between banks, with next-day settlement for large transactions.
- InstaPay: a real-time Filipino payment system for immediate fund transfers between banks and e-wallets.
- GrabPay: a digital wallet and payment platform integrated into the popular Grab app, allowing users to pay for services like rides, food delivery, and shopping.
Future Plans
2024 was nothing short of amazing, and we certainly have the results to show for it. But as much as it’s nice to take a step back and look at what we’re proud of, we’re just getting started.
Expanding the exchange platform with additional cryptocurrencies and payment methods is just one strategy. We’re also working on new product ideas and engaging in many more exciting activities.
