In a continuous effort to improve customer experience, Paybis is excited to announce a significant update to our card payment system. We've always prioritized transparent and clear communication with our users, and this update furthers that commitment.

What's New?

Previously, users faced challenges in understanding why their payments would get declined due to generic error messages. Recognizing the need for clarity, we’ve made our error message system more informative and useful.
Now, when a payment gets declined, users will receive detailed and specific reasons. This update is a big step towards demystifying payment issues.

  • Diverse Range of Error Messages: The new system includes a wide array of error messages tailored to specific issues. Users will receive more accurate information about the reason for a payment decline.
  • Detailed and Contextual Information: Unlike the previous system, which provided one of 5-6 vague messages, the new system offers detailed explanations. This helps users understand the exact reason for a decline, whether it is due to insufficient funds, bank restrictions, or incorrect card details.

Over 60 error messages have been configured and more will be added as they arise.

In our new system, each code corresponds to a specific reason for payment failure.
Whether it's an issue with card details, insufficient funds, or bank restrictions, users will now have a clear understanding of the problem.
This specificity not only aids in troubleshooting but also empowers users to take corrective action swiftly.
