Elon Musk’s $1.4T vs Bitcoin's $1.3T. One man outweighs the network! — Get 50% OFF for 3 trades with code: SPACE50X

SpaceX just made Elon Musk richer than all of Bitcoin

The numbers from this week are hard to believe, so here they are in order. Elon Musk's net worth hit $1.4 trillion. Bitcoin's entire market cap, every coin in existence, sits at around $1.3 trillion. For the first time, one person outweighs the whole network.

The jump came on the back of the SpaceX public debut, which pushed his net worth up 75% in short order, from roughly $800 billion to $1.4 trillion. Part of it landed in a single day, a gain of $101.7 billion, which is a larger one-day jump than Warren Buffett built across his entire life. He is now worth more than Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos, and Larry Ellison added together.

It is worth sitting with what that says. A single company's listing moved one man past the combined value of an entire global asset, and past the four people closest to him on the rich list at the same time. The distance between the very top and everyone else has rarely looked this wide.

That is the headline, and it belongs to him. The asset underneath it belongs to anyone. You can buy the same Bitcoin at the same price he would pay, with no minimum to clear and no invitation to wait for. A coin costs what it costs whether you are buying your first €50 of it or your fifty millionth, and almost nothing else in finance works that evenly.

This weekend, buying it costs even less. From the 20th to the 21st, Paybis fees drop 50% on your next 3 trades. You get more than 90 assets to choose from, the full price shown before you commit, and a real person on support at any hour.

$1.4 trillion was the billionaire's number this week. The weekend is a good time to pick yours.
