A week of folding: bitcoin below $77,000, and a phone that opens in half
Two things folded this week. One of them was priced at $1,999. The other was bitcoin.
Apple introduced iPhone Duo on 9 September, its first foldable, a 5.4-inch phone that opens into a 7.6-inch screen. It was the biggest change to the product in nearly 20 years and it dominated the week's coverage. Pre-orders open on 16 October.
Bitcoin spent the same week going the other way. Having held above $80,000 for four sessions, it handed the level back and kept sliding, breaking $78,000 and then $77,000, with an intraday low near $76,663 on Thursday.
That was the honest position going into the weekend. A support zone holding, a data release landing, and levels that either hold or don't.
A hinge only matters if it works in both directions. Bitcoin has spent this year moving between roughly $75,000 and the low $80,000s, and every one of those moves looked obvious afterwards and uncertain before.
What you pay to act on it is the part that gets settled in advance.
Which is where our own fold comes in. TWOFOLD70 takes 70% off the Paybis service fee on your next 2 trades, through the weekend and Monday. Two trades rather than one, because a position usually has two ends, and because one trade is rarely the whole decision. Full price is shown before you confirm, there are 90+ assets available, and support is staffed by real people at any hour.
