What is an Uniswap wallet and what's it used for
The first thing you need to get some crypto is a wallet. So what is an Uniswap wallet, exactly – and why do you need it?
An Uniswap wallet is an online service, app or device used to store and manage your crypto. Each UNI wallet has its own public address used to receive crypto and a private key used to access it. The address can be freely shared, but the private key provides full access to your crypto and must be kept secret.
These basic principles remain the same. What's different is security, accessibility and ease-of-use: as a rule of thumb, the safest Uniswap wallet will be somewhat harder to get and use.
We don't believe this should be the case, so we created our own Paybis wallet. It is a free and secure online Uniswap wallet that's always accessible right from your Paybis profile. And it's really easy to get one – all it takes is three simple steps!
Setting up your Uniswap wallet
Now that you know what is a Uniswap wallet, here's how you get one:
Log onto your Paybis account or sign up – it only takes a few minutes;
Hit the “Wallets” tab and choose “Add wallet”;
Select “Uniswap” from the dropdown menu.
That's it; you now have a free Uniswap wallet you can use to receive, hold and manage your crypto! It's fully functional, secure, and user-friendly – suitable for those who prefer simplicity, this might be a good choice for a UNI wallet.
Using your UNI wallet
Your new Uniswap wallet is now fully functional, and you may want to start by adding some UNI to it. You can deposit some crypto from an outside UNI wallet – just click the “Deposit” button to view your public address.
Once you have your crypto, you can withdraw it to another UNI wallet without any restrictions or additional fees.
